HCA Florida Highlands Hospital Auxiliary
The dedicated members of the HCA Florida Highlands Hospital Auxiliary volunteer their time and talents throughout the facility. They help support our high standards of patient care, bring comfort and cheer to patients and families, perform tasks that lighten the load of hospital staff and enable the hospital to provide additional services. Uniforms identify all of our Auxiliary members, making it easy for patients and visitors to identify and know who to approach for assistance.
Some of the services performed by our Auxiliary include:
- Assisting in numerous hospital departments
- Delivery of flowers, balloons and gifts to patients
- Delivery of mail to patients and hospital departments
- Directing patients and visitors throughout the hospital
- Gift shop operation and management
- Staffing of information desk
Joining the Auxiliary
Areas of service for volunteers continues to grow, and volunteers are always in high demand. Auxiliary members are asked to volunteer only four hours of their time each week, but they are welcome to volunteer more.
